Looking at the Church calendar, September 8, one of the holy days of obligation, marked as the celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary which is also commonly known as her birthday. The Blessed Virgin Mary is also called by various names such as the Queen of all Saints, Mother of the Church, the Mother of Jesus Christ, and a lot more. She conceived Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit, thus, protecting both the Mother and the Son from acquiring Original Sin, a sin acquired upon birth by every human being. It is undeniable that Jesus Christ is the greatest gift given by God the Father to the mankind because of the immeasurable love and sacrifice He has given to save everyone from their sins but, it can also be analyzed that the greatest gift is preceded by another gift, which is the Blessed Virgin Mary. Without the Blessed Virgin Mary, the existence of her Son, Jesus Christ, would be impossible, thus, voiding the history constructed by the ancestors of the current generation.

The Birth of the Blessed Mother may be celebrated by attending the holy mass, praying the Holy Rosary, learning how to recite and pray the Marian prayers (Angelus, Hail Mary, Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, etc.) some families also celebrate the Nativity by decorating their homes in line with the purity and solemnity of the Virgin Mary. By putting it simply, one may celebrate her birth by doing one’s personal duties extraordinarily well, who, just like Mary, spent her years as an ordinary human being, [as a mother of Jesus, and a wife of Joseph] years before the crucial point in history happened.

Mother Mary is the epitome and symbolism of purity, holiness, and perfection, making it a birth of a heroine and mother of mankind.
