MANILA, PHILIPPINES- After 7 long months of writing and revising, the seniors of Batch 2019 finally presented and defended their endorsed thesis. The defense was held in St. Raymund de Penafort’s Building, and was divided into 3 batches as to match with the schedules of their respective readers. The first batch was conducted on November 9 with 26 students from 9 am to 5 pm, then the second batch with the same time period, was on November 14 with 32 students, and finally, the third and last batch who was supposed to present their paper last November 20, but due to suspension of classes, it was moved on November 23 but according to the students whose reader is Asst. Prof. Frederick Rey, MA’s that their defense did not push through due to inauspicious circumstances.
The program consisted of opening and closing remarks by Department Chair Asst. Prof. Josephine Aguilar- Placido, M.A and an inspirational message from thesis coordinator Mr. Antonino N. Tobias IV, M.S.
The defense was a parallel session with the students in their respective rooms presenting to their reader examiners, together with the help of the first year students who served as facilitators of the event.
