MANILA,PH- A Glaucus Prize event is a yearly inter-program competition under the Faculty of Arts and Letters which serves as an opportunity and a platform for the students to showcase their intellect together with the other students from various programs. This competition also aims to impart random information to further nourish and sharpen the minds of the students.
The Glaucus Prize competition entitled “Dunong: Glaucus Prize 2019” was held last February 20 in Room 403 located in Tan Yan Kee building from 8 AM to 5 PM. Under Sociology, the participants of the competition, who were trained by Mr. Karol Castillo, were Vivien Clarisse Leynes (team captain), Romulus Vincent Cuizon, Sheine Nicole C. Lim, Dominique Revadulla, and Erin Ceejay Sandoval. The individual category with Vivien Leynes representing the Sociology ranked fourth (4th), awarding Asian Studies the championship title. For the group category, the Sociology department was ranked fifth (5th), crowning History the championship title for the competition. The winners for both individual and group categories were awarded with a trophy and medals for every participant to commend them for grabbing the championship title for the competition
